I see my lady still

I move with the river,
unawed by
imposing mountains.
And naked stalks,
dancing alone in
the midday sun.
For somebody I know,
and the port
for which I long.
Runs an old love-song,
growing louder by the sea.
And the tide shall
measure out our lives.
A sweet perfume
of royal ways,
and blossoms all ablaze.
