Ordinary time

Floating on a sea of cells,
that’s how it starts.
Picking up time and
pointing at the empty sky,
that’s how it ends.
Let me disappear, and
sip tea under the Bodhi Tree
– a mind stood up.

It is love, indeed

Some pictures I took today and a poem I wrote earlier.

From an old life
of frantic running,
now each flower
smiles with me.
And today,
from silence – I filled the hours,
searching your face
and looking for my reflection.
That love which leads
to enlightenment,
flows on within you
and without you.

Peace of mind

A cold night in the city and a short poem I wrote one early morning.

The night so cold,
yet in darkness
the jade woman
smiles and comforts me.
Just when my longing
for your beauty,
leaves me sleepless.

A walking meditation

Walking to my class yesterday evening, I stopped and looked around.

With simplicity and plainness,
the rain falls and the fish
sing – but there’s no wind.
All the stars are put to death,
guarding the jade pass.
And the dust of my mind is washed
away, as truth reveals itself.
How calm the sky, towering
the void.
