I see life all around me. Due to COVID – 19, I find myself staying longer in Taiwan , than I expected. The people of Taiwan are kind and helpful. I am staying at a university. This morning, I went to a local market, took some pictures, and wrote this poem. I am staying at Fooyin University.

Migration days
Sometimes life presents itself. I have moved back to Kaohsiung, Taiwan for a while. I walk around this evening and took these pictures. I also wrote this poem 🙏
The wounds,
no longer deep,
tonight I claimed
back the night.
As spring slowly moves in,
I saw you walk
into thinning twilight.
Those migration days,
unheard now,
one after the other.
This is the end
What to say about the end?
Moving out tomorrow,
lights on the street corners
click and change in free time.
The stars, all in place
and offering alternatives.
Warm rain in the afternoon,
sending the sparrows flying.
The poet shifts his stance,
and Buddha smiles.
And I feel fine,
the days are now longer.
Trying to feel the wind
Clear spring sky
Shrill midnight cries
Walking on the inside
I saw the moon, not falling.
Just enough, to remind me
of a mountain echo.
I looked at the heart,
an old friend, strong
and colouring itself.
Through thinning mist,
I saw a dragonfly, cloaked
in amber and sunlit breakers.
Looking ahead, a spring breeze
ripples on an inside world.
The flowers bloom, is perfect.
